By providing his personal data, the User consents to the processing, storage and use of his personal data based on Nepal Law  "On Personal Data" dated 04.22.2023 for the following purposes:

• Implementation of client support
• The User's receipt of information about marketing events
• Conducting audits and other internal studies in order to improve the quality of the services provided.

Personal data means any information of a personal nature that allows establishing the identity of the User/Buyer, such as:

• Surname, name, patronymic
• Date of birth
• Contact phone
• Email address
• Postal address

Personal data of Users are stored exclusively on electronic media and processed using automated systems, except for cases when non-automated processing of personal data is necessary in connection with the fulfillment of legal requirements.

Location Information

LocalBazaar Rider App collects and accesses the device's location information to provide delivery and logistics services.

When a rider is using the app for an active delivery, we may collect location information, including approximate and precise GPS location, to:

• Assign and coordinate delivery orders.
• Show pickup and delivery locations.
• Track the rider's progress during an active delivery.
• Provide accurate delivery status and estimated arrival information.
• Help riders navigate to pickup and customer locations.
• Coordinate deliveries between riders, customers, merchants, and LocalBazaar.
• Improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our delivery services.

Background Location

The app may access the rider's location in the background while an active delivery is in progress, including when the app is minimized or the device screen is locked. Background location is used to maintain delivery tracking and coordination during an active delivery.

Background location is not used for advertising or unrelated purposes. Location tracking is limited to legitimate delivery and logistics purposes and is stopped or no longer required when the relevant delivery activity has ended.

Location Permissions

The app may request the following Android location permissions:

• Precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)
• Approximate location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION)
• Background location (ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION)

Riders can manage or disable location permissions through their Android device settings. Disabling location access may prevent certain delivery, tracking, navigation, or order-related features from functioning correctly.

Sharing of Location Information

Location information may be transmitted to LocalBazaar's servers and made available to authorized LocalBazaar personnel and relevant delivery participants when necessary to operate and coordinate an active delivery.

We do not sell location information or use it for advertising purpose

Location Data Retention

Location information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide delivery services, maintain delivery records, resolve disputes, ensure service security, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services. When location information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data retention practices

The company undertakes not to transfer the received personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:

• At the request of authorized bodies of state power of the Nepal only on the grounds and in the order established by the legislation of the Nepal
• Strategic partners who work with the Company to provide products and services, or those of them who help the Company sell products and services to consumers. We provide third parties with the minimum amount of personal data necessary only to provide the required service or carry out the required transaction.

The company reserves the right to make unilateral changes to these rules, provided that the changes do not contradict the current legislation of the Nepal. Changes to the terms of these rules will come into force after their publication on the Site.
